    Build 10159 - Internet Explorer Will Not Stay Closed


    Upgraded my desktop PC to 10159 Pro from 10130 which was an upgrade from 8.1 Pro. Almost every time I close IE, it reopens with the message "Internet Explorer IS Restarting". Somehow it seems to be interpreting a normal close as an abnormal close. Actually getting quite annoying. Did not happen with 10130 or 10158.

    Windows 10 build 10240

    Build 10159 all this worked. Something changed. Left click start button No Apps menu. Cannot access feedback. Click Microsoft Edge icon on task bar opens very briefly, then closes. Again 10159 all was well. Not fixed as I write.

    Same situation on 5 PC's.

    I upgraded to windows 10 build 10159,then went back to version 10158. Now i'm ready to upgrade again10159, will windows update offer 10159 again or will i have to wait for the next build. I am gettin updates for defender

    I have the same problem. Closing it the second time works ok but its just not right and annoying.

    Me too IE11 but the 1st time you open in you have to choose Compatibility settings or the 2nd option, I do not recall what that was
    I will probably siick with Edge for now.
