I saw this on Majorgeeks today, and then checked TechBench for the same file name as a download. I'm assuming this is legitimate. Did I miss news of an updated .iso?

  2. How do I disable latest driver update automatic in Windows Update?

The thing is you cannot repair a 10586.104 build with a 10586.103 or any lesser builds.

The best way is to download an ISO from Techbench and use that to repair corrupt files.Techbench and Media creation tool would download the latest ISO available.

  3. Build 10532 Release

Last night's final release of Windows 10 TP was extremely ill-prepared. Between the discussions and support forums, it appears as if consumers blame NVidia & RealTek for the driver migration errors occurring on nearly all current builds. The reputation of
both companies lead me to believe otherwise, given their history of hardware/software cooperation, or "playing nice in the sandbox". I believe the proper blame for these problems lies not with the players, but in the "owner" of the "sandbox". (*Consider MSFT
Windows OS relevant history...). To Gabe, Joel, and everyone else, we have one last chance to become the biggest success in technology, or else the greatest failure. Let us please get Windows 10 released to the public as something all of us can be proud of,
    rather than yet another embarrassment.

  5. The link to download the file is a microsoft.com domain. MajorGeeks is also a trusted site that verifies everything before they offer it on their site.

You don't have to install it to check the version. You can use DISM /Get-wiminfo to check the version in the install.wim or install.esd file. I'm willing to bet it is still 10586.0 in the ISO file. 10586.103 refers only to version number of the mediacreationtool.exe file which does not necessarily reflect the version number of the ISO it downloads.

Mount the ISO file, then elevated command prompt:

    DISM /get-wiminfo /wimfile:f:\sources\install.wim /index:1

Path in red is to the mounted ISO file drive letter. Also works on install.esd.

Since I didn't use it I can't say definitely that it is safe. But it is from an MS site so it should
be safe. Never know until it's used though.

    Build 10586.103 released to TechBench?

I just dl'd it and extracted the zip. Properties on setup.exe are 2/13/16 and build 10586.0. If it were installed at that time the current available cum update would have taken it to 10586.103. It's hocus-pocus. Get it from TechNet.....
