Windows 10: Built a new PC and it constantly bluescreens every 10ish minutes. Is it a problem with my...

I recently built a new PC, so I have all new parts. I started the PC up and it went just fine. But after 10 minutes of running it bluescreened on me with the error DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE and continues to do so whenever I power on the PC. I contacted Microsoft support, but they just had me reinstall Windows and do other common troubleshooting steps.I researched the error online and followed all of the troubleshooting steps suggested, but the problem still persists. The dump file says its due to ntoskrnl.exe. I believe that it's probably due to faulty RAM, but I just want to make sure.Any an

pc has been constantly bluescreening

random bluescreens have been happening every 10-20 minutes. they vary in error codes so there is not just 1 item causing it. typically, i’ve noticed that when i am playing a game the bluescreens rarely occur as opposed to when i’m not playing game they occur very often. what fixes are suggested? i’ve done sfc tool, it said it found corrupted files and fixed them but bluescreens keep occurring.

(edit) forgot to mention that i’ve also factory reset my pc to get rid of the issue, and i still constantly get bluescreens. google and discord also crash occasionally along with the entire pc. only things that don’t crash are games

 

Windows 10 hangs after 10ish minutes


I upgraded from windows 7 pro x64 to Windows 10 pro x64.
Since the first time I upgraded, it's all good the first 10ish minutes, and then nothing works.
If I open a new tab in Edge, that one doesn't load. If I click a link on an existing page, it doesn't load.
The windows menu shows up when I click it, but I cannot search anything in it.
If I start a new application, it doesn't start it.
Win-R does show the command runner, but anything ran there doesn't start (even cmd or notepad) (no matter which app, explorer, notepad, etc...).
Restart/Hibernate/Shutdown doesn't do anything.
I have to force reset (hardware button) to be able to use the computer another 10ish minutes before it becomes unusable again.

I tried removing many services/apps at start-up, didn't help.
Malwarebytes and panda antivirus didn't find anything wrong.
Repair start-up / system didn't help.

So I performed a clean install of Windows 10 (still pro x64).
First weeks: all good, no more issues!
But since a few days ago the exact same pattern is back: unresponsive after 10ish minutes.

Any permanent fix?

 

New Windows 10 PC Bluescreens when idle

I have a brand new build, Windows 10, Asus Z170-P motherboard, 12gb corsair ddr4, GTX 950, 1TB hard drive. Whenever I leave it idle it seems to bluescreen. This can happen after 20-30 minutes or not for an hour or more. Usually when I'm using it actively playing games it is fine. The bluescreen bug check string is various things from MEMORY_MANAGEMENT, IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, BAD_POOL_HEADER and a few others.

Things I've tried:

• Updating all my drivers, particularly the asus chipset drivers
  
• Running Memtest overnight (7 passes in 9 hours, no issues found)
  
• chkdisk (via windows 10 tools)
  

I really am stuck now. I took it back to the store where I bought all the parts and they said they tested it and it's all fine (they updated the chipset drivers again even though I had already done so) and for them it was running for 2 hours with no bluescreen.

If anyone has suggestions I'd be really grateful because I've run out of ideas!
