    built-in admin account problem

i have a clean install of windows 10 pro, before i had a windows 7 and was using the built-in administrator account without problems.
now in windows 10 i'm using the built in administrator account but facing problems
    1) if i leave the "security settings==>local policies==>security options==> User Account Control: Use Admin Approval Mode for the built-in Administrator account==> disabled" as it is the default option i can't run the new windows programs like settings, edge... etc.
    2) if i change User Account Control: Use Admin Approval Mode for the built-in Administrator account to enabled, i can't install certain programs and also i have to run some applications as administrator (which i don't want to do for every application and that's why i use the built-in administrator account), to get full access to the windows drive "c:" and it's subfolders.

can anyone help me to solve this issues....

    :)

  2. I keep getting an ""App" can't be opened using the built-in administrator account" and i've tried everything

The IT department set up my machine, thus why i'm on the built-in admin account. Is there a way to not use the built-in admin account, but still retain my admin account.. Like can I swap my account into a "normal" admin account?

  3. unlink my microsoft account from administrator account in windows 10

is there a solution to unlink the local admin account from the microsoft account

the option to switch to local account doesnt exist, the option to remove doesnt exist.

i would like to retain the local built-in admin account

i have created another user account and want to use my microsoft account w/ it but cant because its associated w/ the built-in admin account and unable to break the link betweeen the built-in admin and my microsoft account.

    built-in admin account problem

    1) This is by design. The security model of the new Apps are not compatible with a full time Admin level account.
    2) Even the built in Administrator account or an normal elevated admin account does not grant you access to everything. This too is by design.

It was never intended that the Administrator account be used for normal use. Create your own Admin level account for this. It will be subject to UAC and is compatible with the new Apps.
