Windows 10: Built in camera missing after Windows 10 update in Sony Vaio VPCEG38FG

My camera missing after Windows 10 updated itself and I cannot bring camera back... Really annoying in this pandemic situation that needs camera to do video conferencing..

I try every tip & trick I can find but still not working..

My laptop is Sony Vaio VPCEG38FG
The camera isn't listed in Device Manager, I try to add legacy hardware but threre is no camera model to pick in option
I try to go back to restore point but it stuck, and the previous restore point is gone..

Please help, I really need my camera..

I have the same problem: built-in camera does not work.

On the site of Sony i found the following information: Sony does not currently plan to provide Windows 10 dedicated drivers for your VAIO computer.

So what should I do? I cannot return to win7, but win10 does not recognize my camera. Who is responsible for these kind of problems?

Sorry to hear you are having trouble with your camera. Could you give us some more information on your Sony Vaio? Could you tell us your Sony Vaio model and camera? Is this a integrated camera or usb? When you say it's 'not working' does that mean the camera
doesn't work in the Windows Camera app? Or another app like Skype? Do you get an error?
