Windows 10: Built-in camera not recognized. Crashes computer when I try to use zoom with video on.

When I try to use Zoom, it crashes my computer with this blue screen stop code: PFN_LIST_CORRUPT. then I restart and my computer stops recognizing the built-in camera after this.When I reinstall drivers by going to device manager--action--scan for hardware changes--restart, my camera is back to normal, but the same thing happens again when I try to use it with a video conferencing app including in browser. I tried to delete and reinstall Zoom, which didn't do the trick. I also tried to install Lenovo vantage updates, which also didn't fix anything.

built in camera not working

The built in camera is not working with skype or zoom. the apps don't even recognize it

 

My Lenovo can access Zoom audio, but the Zoom app is supposedly not on my laptop, so I cannot give the camera permission for Zoom. How do I put Zoom in the camera permission column?

That's the problem. Under Choose which apps can access your camera, the Zoom app is not listed.

Therefore, I am not able to allow camera permission to my laptop.

I need to know how to add the Zoom app, so it is "officially" recognized by my Lenovo.

As I said, I am able to use Zoom with audio only - no video.
