    Hi everyone,

    I had to change my old LCD display inbuilt into my laptop Lenovo ideapad 310 15ISK as it got cracked. When I booted the system back up, only my secondary monitor would work and the new inbuilt display would not detect. I can not figure out why. The new screen is slightly different but should be compatible. I've noticed that the display driver for my new laptop screen is not present in the device manager. I have done the obvious things like restart my system, tried to install the latest drivers for my intel graphics and tried to detect the device in settings. Any ideas on how to proceed from here? I can provide extra information if that is helpful

    Maybe some modifications are equipped with Intel graphics only... But at Lenovo site is Nvidia graphics driver listed:
    https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/300-series/310-15isk/downloads

    You have to experiment yourself. (Make an system disk image before.)

    - try to install Advanced Configuration and Power Management Interface (ACPI) Driver for Windows 10 from Lenovo site
    - try to install Intel Chipset Driver for Windows 10 from Lenovo site

    - try to select Microsoft Basic Display Adapter driver instead ot the Intel one installed
    - try to install Intel VGA Driver for Windows 10 from Lenovo site
    - try to select Standard SATA AHCI Controller driver instead of the Intel one installed
    - try to install Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver for Windows 10 from Lenovo site

    - in Control Panel/Power Options, select Maximum/High Performance power plan
    - check if you have the latest bios/uefi (flashing it may be a little bit dangerous).

    Lenovo Ideapad 310 external display problem

    When I connected my Lenvovo to my HD TV, the colors were wrong and the picture jumps up and down. Previously, it worked perfectly. The HD TV works perfect on another laptop. Any ideas?
