This speaker in question is from an ASUS laptop G14 Zephyrus and suddenly it sounds like some telephone, and this speaker is a built-in speakerI have tried:1 Audio Troubleshooting2 Restarting3 Messing about with the audio drivers4 Disabling spatial and enhancement audio settingsNothing has worked so far.P.S: If it helps, using another audio device somehow solves the problem

  2. C1-02 Sound heard from Earpiece and Speaker both even if speaker is turned OFF

I recently bought C1-02 with FW 3.40, later I updated to FW 5.40. The problem is that the sound from Earpiece is being heard from back speaker also, without turning the speaker ON.

If I turn ON the speaker, there is no difference. When I play music from Speaker, its even heard from the earpiece.

Is this a flaw in the c1-02 model or firmware or just my phone?

If the flaw is in the model, Will there be a firmware update to fix this issue or is this a hardware flaw?

  3. I have no sound during a call and have to use speaker phone to hear caller. How can this be fixed?

Restart the phone and see if the problem remains, in case it's some kind of glitch. If that doesn't fix it, the outlook seems bleak.

Your phone has two speakers. The earpiece the normal phone call sound comes from, and a "system" speaker that ringtones, media, system sounds (alarms, keyboard tap noises, etc.) and the speakerphone plays from.

It seems likely the earpiece speaker, or the associated electronics and/or wiring that connect to it have died, and the device likely needs repair service.

    Earpiece and speaker malfunction

I have a Lumia 920 and for the second time in 2 months the earpiece and speaker have suddenly stopped working. No sound or even alerts are being sounded.
