    Bullet points wrongly indenting to whole page instead of sentence or section


    Hi all,

    Really frustrating issue. So anytime I want to add a bulletpoint at any section of a document, just simply clicking the bullet point icon in the past was always sufficient. That section/sentence would indent and a bulletpoint would be created.

    Now upon clicking the bullet point the entire page indents and becomes one big bulletpoint?

    How do I fix this, because I don't think it's just an office word issue. I just tried on this web text box and clicking the bullet point icon here does the same thing? Noticed the same in my emails on various web platforms.

    If it's carried over to the web too, I can only assumed this an overall Windows issue.

    setting bullet insets in WORD

    Instructions say highlight text to be indented and then right-click bullet tab and it will pull up an "Adjust Lists Indents" box but I can't get this box to appear as an option to be selected.

    Aha, I see what you're wanting now, Nana.

    Yes, you can use bullet points to do the same thing. It even indents them with a bullet (dot). Just choose the Edit tool at the bottom of each note with the bunch of lines and it will format that part of the note with indented bullet points.

    A keyboard shortcut to do this is in the WIndows Club tutorial I gave you in my first post with all the shortcuts for Sticky Notes. Apparently bullet points have been around all along using Ctrl + Shift + L

    Bullet Points Don't Display Correctly (Corrupt Font?


    The Symbol font was not installed according to my character map but I have all the default Windows fonts saved so I reinstalled it (it actually said the font was already installed and if I wanted to replace). My character map looks indentical to your screenshot but my bullet library is not correct.

    EDIT: I can define a new bullet point (the small black circle type but can't find the other original ones, such as the sqaure bullet point I like to use) How do I restore the bulletpoints to default?
