Windows 10: burn to cd on wmp

    WMP wont burn CDs

    Just started today for the first time I get this message when trying to burn CDs.

    "WMP cannot burn some of the files. To investigate the problem, click the icon next to the files in the burn list." I found the icons finally, but when I click on them, I just get a "no info available" prompt. Anyone have any advice for me?

    WMP won't burn a CD

    I ran both diagnostics (it looks to me like the first two are the same) to no avail.

    WMP still stops the burn with the same error window, but if I restart my PC and then open WMP and sample each mp3 or wmp file in the burn list, most of the time it will start burning.

    Is there anything else I should try?

    How to burn a document to a cd in windows 10

    Hi Elaine,

    To assist you better, answer the below questions

    • Are you facing any difficulties to burn a document to a cd?
    • Are you using any third party tool to burn a document to a cd?
    I suggest you to follow below steps to burn cd and check if it helps.

    • Insert CD/DVD.
    • Open the CD/DVD drive in File explorer
      icon from the taskbar, copy and paste the required document to the
      CD/DVD drive.
    • Click on Burn a Disc.
    • Follow on the on screen instruction.
