Windows 10: Burning in VM Windows 11 ARM only virtual drive detected, not physical

When attempting to burn in Windows Media Player, I drag and dropped tracks on right hand side, and drive is detected on left Drive: E, yet when I click "burn", it only detects Virtual drive D:Is there a way to change this to right drive ?If I go under Preferences, both are being detected, but its only a list of detected drives,, you can't priories one over the other.. I could use other burning software, but I prefer to just use default what's built in. The burner is a USB drive connected to laptop.

using Windows 11 with Parallels Desktop virtual machine

Microsoft do not sell Windows 10 / 11 ARM licenses separately, those are available only for OEM manufacturers.

Windows 11 ARM insider preview is only for development purposes and Mac M1 CPU isn't supported.

Here are supported conditions for Windows 11 ARM: Download Windows Insider Preview ARM64 (microsoft.com)

With Windows 11 on ARM Insider Preview builds, you can create 64-bit ARM (ARM64) VMs in Hyper-V on Windows 11 ARM-based PCs.

ARM64 VMs are only supported on devices that meet the pre-requisites:

• Windows 11 ARM-based PCs with a Microsoft SQ1, Microsoft SQ2, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx, or Qualcomm Snapdragon 850 processor
  
• Hyper-V enabled (instructions)
  

Using Win 11 ARM edition in Parallels isn't supported by Microsoft. Look help from Parallels site.

i have new samsung galaxy book 2 pro and I have installed a vm ware. I keep getting the error of SRW detected you are running in a virtual machine. Can someone help me ? IT from work has worked on this all week and as well as myself. Going through all the steps listed for virtual machine error . Installing uninstalling removing anit-virus software with no fix. I would appreciate any suggestions

 

Can I install Garuda Linux in an Azure VM ?

Hi everyone,

I want to use Garuda Linux on my Azure VM by either using an ORACLE VIRTUALBOX or ANY OTHER suitable way.

But for that I need Hyper-V which is not available in any Azure VMs. I know nested virtualization exists, but I tried various VM sizes, Ds2_v3, e-series and almost everyone, none of them have it.

And I have read this documentation - Run Hyper-V in a Virtual Machine with Nested Virtualization | Microsoft Learn

in one of the steps, it says While the virtual machine is in the OFF state, run the following command on the physical Hyper-V host. Here, what is this physical hyper-v host? My laptop? or the Azure Data Centre ?

I couldn't figure out.

So can you please let me know the complete configuration of Azure VM -

• Which VM size to use
  
• Any additional settings during VM creation
  
• Region to choose
  
• Settings to do in the VM itself
  

so that I can use Oracle Virtualbox to install Garuda Linux.

If nested virtualization is not possible, suggest any alternative way to install Garuda linux on the VM.
