    Burnng Spinrite ISO with Ashampoo Burning Studio 16.


    Burning Studio has the option to burn a "Data" disk. Nowhere is ISO mentioned.

    I burnt Spinrite.exe to a c.d. The file on the c.d. is called spinrite.exe. Is it, or is it not, and ISO file?

    If not, how can I get the program and Burning studio to produce an ISO file?

    Hi Constantinos, Windows 10 does support ISO image files to open and view, but does not burn disk Images . . .

    The best absolutely free burning software that supports ISO is Ashamoo Burning Studio

    DVD Burning

    WIndows 10 does not burn compliant DVD's it has a basic burn engine . . .

    You really need to use a 3rd party application to burn DVD's, click the link below to download Ashampoo Burning Studio 6, it is free and is fully featured burning software

    I don't have Ashampoo so I can't say how to do it. I have Nero but its confusing so I burn ISO's with the free (and popular) Imgburn.

    You could try CDBurner XP to test out the ISO. Ashampoo have recently released version 19 also.

    As mentioned above; Imgburn is an excellent burning program........however, LighteningUK started allowing OpenCandy adware so he could generate a little profit for his work on the software....

    If you download the program from the link I have you will get the Clean Version without the OpenCandy.......

    I apoligize if my link is against any Forum Rules and if so will a Mod just delete this post.....

    I don't understand how another burner can "test" the ISO.

    I know, but I shouldn't have to buy it. Version 16 should be able to do it.

    I decided to ask here rather than ask Ashampoo as I have not been very impressed with their reponses to other queries, but I think I will ask them anyway.

    Ashampoo 16 look at left hand Panel when you open the programme select 'Disk Image' then select 'Burn Image'

    That route doesn't do it. It asks for the "image" to be burnt.

    With Ashampoo Burning Studio you can't create an ISO. You can burn an ISO to disk but not the other way round.

    Why do you need to create an ISO if you already have the spinrite.exe available?
