    I'm not sure this is the right forum but the title does say "hardware".

    I have a huge number of business cards in my collection. I would like to buy a business card scanner and I have found many advertised on the net. However, they all scan and save as jpg files, while what I actually want is a series of individual files in a folder which will allow me to search for a particular name, company, whatever; jpg would not allow me to do this. Example: If I include one of my own cards I wish to be able to search on my name, surname, address, website url, etc.

    Can anyone give me some advice about this matter, please? Very grateful in advance.

    Does anyone know of a good business card scanner, that will let me OCR a card into contacts (I accept there will some adjustment required).

    I believe there was such an app on the memory card supplied with the E71 - however!! I gave the card to my son - as I already had a suitable card with files on and he in due coarse formatted it..!
