Windows 10: Button to disable the news/weather widget in my taskbar not showing up.

I just reset my pc that is running Windows 10 home. I want to clean up my taskbar and remove all the icons I don't need but for some reason I can't for the news and weather widget.The button that everyone talks about on the internet is not there.Anyone got an idea how to fix this?

Weather widget not showing

My problem isn't that the weather widget is not showing in the widgets bar, it's that it isn't showing on the taskbar. I've seen many people having problems with their weather widget only showing as a widget button on the left corner of the taskbar, but in my case, it's still on the old place, next to the desktop button.

I'm an Insider Beta Channel, updated to the latest build 22000.526 on Feb. 10th 2022, which should include showing the weather on the taskbar if the widgets button is activated and the start button is aligned on the centre.

In my case it's not showing though, I still see the widgets button and no weather. The feed works, opening the widgets I can see the weather widget, it shows my location, the weather and everything. I can also click it and open it on Edge with no problems.

I rebooted multiple times, ran DISM and SFC to fix errors, nothing. I'm logged in with my Microsoft Account in the widgets panel and there are no problems.

I've searched around and tried different suggestions on how to get the weather widget to show up in the taskbar, but nothing is working at all and I've kind of hit a dead end. Anyone have any tips?
