  1. Buying new RAM made my PC slower?

I had 16gb of RAM, 2x8gb and upgraded to 64 GB 2x32gb and installed the RAM. However, my PC now runs slower and every time I try to run a game or anything really, the CPU usage on task manager skyrockets to 100% and the game will run very, very slowly. I tried installing the old RAM back in, but it still has the same issue. I really need help, either to get things back to how they were with the old RAM or if it is possible, help with making my new RAM compatible with my PC. I don't know much about computer science, so if anyone needs extra information about my computer I can find it for yo

    :)

throw old ram buy new ram does?

In a nutshell, no. RAM doesn't "wear out" or get slower as it ages.

You can add more RAM, but if you already have 16GB, unless you're doing heavy gaming, heavy graphics or maybe music, you have enough.

At this point, the only way to more speed is to buy a newer, faster computer.

Like my mechanic brother would say, "Jack it up and run a new one under it!"

List of Micron D9 RAM: Request sticky.

Maybe now you see those Rams I suggested to buy for your rig. They are at the top of the list there...

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
