Are Windows Retail Version Upgrading to Win 10 OEM??

Buying full Retail isn't an issue, you get a unique Product Code to install with. And transfer if you want. I have Retail keys I can do that with via MSDN. It's only the free upgrades that use a common key. And likely for a reason?

Manufacturer codes for Windows 10 Retail versions?

Hi. Does anyone know the manufacturer codes for the retail versions of Windows 10?

Some sites label a certain code as Retail, while other sites will label the same code as OEM. Then you have a lot of sites just not stating at all which version they're selling.

Basically, I want to buy a Retail licence version of Windows 10 so that it's not tied to my motherboard like the OEM licence. I need to be sure before purchasing. Finding this launch so confusing comparted to previous versions...

And just to clarify, I'm looking to buy a copy of Windows 10, not do the free upgrade.
