Windows 10: Buying Windows 10 Pro for a School

I teach I.T. classes at a technical center. I am trying to buy a copy of windows 10 that I can use on a domain for my networking classes and be able to install on various machines over time. OEMs seem to be tied to the machine you install them on. It would seem that I need the full version. I contacted the sales department of Microsoft back in August to get a quote. After six months, I still have not received a quote on what it would cost for about 40 licenses. I have never seen a company less concerned about selling their product in my life. My budget is due today and I am still confused about what to do. We are a public school so I would hope that there is a discounted price for us. I would appreciate any information on how to proceed.

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Should I buy Windows 10 Home or Pro?

I bought a win 10 pro oem key for £25, changed my motherboard and cpu, and reinstalled windows, and it activated automatically. So I would say why not buy pro?

Was near enough instant delivery of key by email, and it activated on my original install, and on a clean install with changed hardware. Can't say fairer than that for £25

DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .
