    Hello there, I'm from Peru and I want to buy the download version of Windows 11 pro retail from an US website. So I thought that since the product is a digital download I wouldnt have any of the issues that come with the USB versionshipping, taxes, etc but after chatting with the support of the website they told me that there might be an issue since usually a software can only be redeemed in a certain region and he recommended to contact Microsoft before buying the product.Should go ahead with the purchase or do you think I could run into trouble?     Free upgrade from Windows 11 Home to 11 Pro using 10 Pro retail license

    My current computer has an activated Windows 10 Pro retail license. I'm planning to replace my current computer by buying a new computer that comes preinstalled with Windows 11 Home, and then I understand I can use my 10 Pro license to upgrade to 11 Pro for free.

    What's the most straightforward way of accomplishing this? The obvious approach that comes to mind involves two steps:

    1. Reinstall Windows 10 Pro on new computer and activate with my existing retail license.
    2. Upgrade new computer to 11 Pro for free through the settings.
    Is there a simpler way of doing this without having to reinstall Windows 10? For example, would it be possible to somehow "trade in" my Windows 10 Pro license for 11 Pro? I'm fairly new to Windows licensing and am just trying to understand what is possible/best practice, with minimal effort.

    Where can I buy the full retail version of Windows 11 Pro?

    I'm not able to find the full retail version of Windows 11 Pro. I can only find the OEM version, which I don't want. Microsoft's website only contains information about how to upgrade to Windows 11 or how to buy a new PC that comes with Windows 11.

    At the moment as far as I can tell the only way is to buy Windows 10 Pro Full Retail and upgrade to 11 later, but this is sub-optimal. Can't I just buy Windows 11 directly, instead of upgrading from Windows 10?

    1. Select Start > Settings > System > Activation.
    2. Under Upgrade your edition of Windows, select Open Store
    3. Make sure you’re signed in with your Microsoft account to purchase Windows 11 Pro
    4. After you confirm your purchase, you’ll be prompted to install Windows 11 Pro and restart your PC. You’ll then be running Windows 11 Pro.
