Windows 10: Bypassing Password

My dad passed away late last week and I have been tasked with gathering his electronic information. His Windows 10 PC has a password lock on it, and unfortunately he didn't write down the password to get into his computer. How can I bypass or reset this computers password??? Help!

Administrative password bypass

Hi,

I got to the step 3 you suggested. But my computer system doesn't give me an option to enter the password.

it doesn't let me pass that step.

 

wp8.1 password bypass

I have Lumia 920 with build 3051.50009.1451.10458.

I found that the lock screen password can be bypassed. Following are the steps

01. Long press camera button to enter camera app directly (this is correct)

02. Now Pressing home bottom goes to start screen ( this is incorrect)

when I directly enter the camera without password. It should not allow access to any other app or start screen unless I enter the password. In above case it should had asked me password when I pressed home button(step 2)

 

Is there any way that I can bypass the password requirement when it is in the 'lockscreen' mode?

• Did you perform the above steps without any mistake?
