Windows 10: C: Drive became RAW out of the blue

Hi, so uhh yesterday my computer wanted to restart to fix drive errors so I did. It sat on the repairing disk errors screen for a while and then said it couldn’t repair them with a log file: System32\Logfiles\Srt\SrtTrai.txt.Then I decided to follow this guy’s guide: https://youtu.be/ZZBOdeTF5IwI got an access denied message at the bootrec /fixboot command so I followed his fix in the comments. I went into diskpart and assigned the letter V: to my C drive OS And when I did that the command took like 5 seconds to respond. Then commands started responding slower than before and when I checked

Save RAW drive - Don't want data


Open Admin command prompt, then type:

1. diskpart
2. list disk ======> Take note of disk # of the RAW drive
3. select disk # ======> is the number in step 2
4. clean
5. exit

Open Disk Management and initialize it, Create Simple, format.

 

How to convert RAW partition to NTFS partition.

Thanks for your reply. Apparently the convert drive to NTFS doesn't work when the drive is RAW. After following your instructions in step 2 I get message "convert is not available for RAW drives.

Any suggestions?
