Windows 10: C:Drive has 356 mb free of 27.8 gb on windows 10

Hello am not sure if this problem has been answered


But, my c:drive is taking up more space than usual this is not something new to me,

my c:drive was always containing 200mb to 800mb free of space, but now i have 83mb

left on my computer and i don't know what to do i have done every step i have seen

online like:


- use disk cleanup

- download C:drive cleaning software's

- clean my %temp% folder

- clean my temp folder

- clean prefetch folder

- clear windows cache

- permanently delete recycled files


those are what i remember i did but i am sure i did more than that, and also every time

i would download an application that meets my system requirements it would take up

more space then it said it would. i have searched up content on how to fix this problem

and i have found results steps that i have already done, if you would suggest to reset

my computer it have not worked i keep getting the same error, so i would like to fix this

without resetting and i cant format to reinstall windows 10.

• I suspect the windows 10 need this much space and it is some kind of glitch,
