Windows 10: C Drive Low on Space, D Drive Has Plenty - How to Reallocate Disk Space?

Hi, I need help with disk partitioning. I have a 256GB laptop I bought about 4 years ago. Over time, my C drive has filled up, and now I only have about 5GB left, which is always in red. But my D drive still has around 190GB of free space. I want to move 30GB from D to C, but I'm facing some issues: 1. Using Windows Disk Management: - I shrank the D drive to create free space, but it didn’t fix the issue. - The 30GB unallocated space is next to D, yet Windows won’t let me merge it with C, and the "Extend Volume" option is grayed out. 2. Reallocating Disk Space

I have 2TB of storage divided into two drives, C and D. I continue to get messages that I'm running out of disk space on drive C (currently allocated at 118 GB) so I tried to shrink drive D (with 1.4 TB of available space) in order to expand drive C. The
process of shrinking drive D worked per MS guidance but when I went to reallocate the freed up space to expand drive C the "expand" command was shadowed out and I was unable to expand drive C. Am I missing something in the mechanics of reallocating space?
Has anyone experienced a similar problem and, if so, can you share how this can be facilitated?

I am trying to install Windows 10 update. It gives me an error that my D recovery disk is not big enough. I do not know how to add more space to D. There is plenty of space on C. How do I move space from C drive to D drive.

Hi,

I am receiving messages saying my storage is full. Disk manager shows no free space on C drive, but 913GB free on D drive, how can I reallocate free space from D to C?
