Windows 10: C: Drive too full

    C: Drive too full


    I got a message my C: drive is at capacity and needs to have some files removed. What is the difference between the "Program Files" and Program Files x86. If I have to remove an application can I remove it from one of these folders & leave the other one alone? Any other suggestions to reduce the disk size?

    I've already done your suggestions....... yep, need a bigger drive for C: suppose!

    Thank you for your response.



    I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.


    • Press Windows +E,

    • Right click on C: drive.

    • Select Sharing Tab.

    • Click on Advanced Sharing.

    • Uncheck “Share this folder”.
