    C: Drive UNLocked Icon, Windows 11, NO ACCESS to C:, BUT--


    I've seen this posted before and people were able to get in the CMD to fix- But not me: Oddly, can start the computer, log in and start apps... BUT can't access the HD! WHAT? I have the dreaded Unlocked Padlock icon too. Can't even access Bitlocker! Note: this unit is brand-spankin' new just setting up the first user!

    C Drive icon disapear?

    I was trying to install need for speed pro street demo. I install it in C drive directory. Somehow it got currupted.. so I delete the files manually in C drive and reboot and download pro street again.

    Now my C drive picture Icon disapear and now it just a white square. Did when I was deleting pro street files in C drive somehow it effect the C drive icon? or did I accidently delete something that is not pro street file?

    How do I make my C drive picture Icon back?

    Windows 10 c: drive not accessable

    I was trying to solve a problem I had with accessing several folders, following the steps on a web site, and

    I got a message that the owner of the C; drive was being erased!

    Since then I have no access to the c: drive, I keep getting "access denied", "you don't have the proper permissions", "you don't have read permission", and when I finally got into Safe Mode and clicked on C:/properties/security, it said "Owner: Unable to
    display current owner".

    I've tried more methods than I want to list trying to get ownership of the C: drive and set permissions back where they belong.

    Where is the c: drive owner entered? Would I need to RegEdit? If so, please provide step by step because all I know about RegEdit is that it's dangerous to mess with.....

    Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

    C: drive access denied windows 11

    i was did a factory reset on my Acer Nitro AN517-52, it is running windows 11 and no matter what i do i can not access the C: Drive.

    C: drive access denied.
