Windows 10: C# programs not working

There is 2 C# programs on my computer that I use very regularly (LiveSplit, and SM64StarDisplay), but neither of them are starting up. I've tried reinstalling the .NET framework which did nothing, as well as loading a restore point from before the programs stopped starting up, but neither worked.


This may have to do with how my computer won't wake up if I put it to sleep, and I need to reboot it.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600

RAM: 2x8 GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4

GPU: AMD Radeon RX 580

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

my suggestion is to learn c first, then expand to c++ or java depending on your project requirements. if you decide to use visual studio (which i strongestly recommend) then you can just create c++ projects and write normal c code

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
