  1. C:\WINDOW\system32

This Blue screen appears covering my desk top when I open windows. I've read this is a critical screen, but I do't remember ever using it. Don't have any idea as to why it pops up when opening my pc? It does go away on it's own each time.

Anything that I should do with it?

    :)

    • Copy nvlddmkm.sys in C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\nv_dispi.inf_amd64_5518e59e8d3b48f4\ to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\ and replace the existing one.

  4. C:\WINDOW\system32

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\eed.ec.dll

Hi , I'm David, thanks for participating in the Microsoft Community. I'll do my best to help today.

    perform these steps:

    • After the update Windows 10 update, there will be a folder called c:\Windows.old\

    • Using a file manager with administrator privileges navigate to c:\Windows.old\WINDOWS\System32\

    • The exact location of the eed_ec.dll file you need is at c:\Windows.old\WINDOWS\System32\eed_ec.dll

    • Using a file manager with administrator privileges, copy that file into c:\Windows\System32\

    • The exact location of the copied eed_ec.dll file is c:\Windows\System32\ eed_ec.dll

    • Reboot

    Best Regards,

    David.
