    Hello, Whenever i boot my laptop This Thing called C:\WINDOWS\System32\sc.EXE pops up and it took me some time to see what it said but it said an instance of the service is already running can someone help?

    Tried Nod32.. no help. Will try kaspersky. Will try Norton Corporate Edition Anti-Virus. thanks for suggestion.

    Windows Time Service not running and did not update with time change

    I tried the first set of steps on that link and I get a message - unable to start the windows time service. This same message appears with any of the 3 services listed
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\sc.EXEan instance of the service is already running 304550d1604333829t-windows-time-service-not-running-did-not-update-time-change-image.png



    if I try the 2nd option and this is what I get

    trying the 3rd option gives me the message that time synchronization failed

    step 1:
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\sc.EXEan instance of the service is already running 1516036961984-png.png

    okay ive done the same thing as you but i cant put the file back into the folder

    • Copy nvlddmkm.sys in C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\nv_dispi.inf_amd64_5518e59e8d3b48f4\ to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\ and replace the existing one.
