Windows 10: c:\windows\system32\vcruntime140.dll AND c:\windows\system32\msvcp140.dll alerts popping up

I started up my PC when an alert saying c:\windows\system32\msvcp140.dll isn’t working. I reinstalled VISUAL C++ (2015) redistribute, but it keeps popping up. I also noticed that c:\windows\system32\vcruntime140.dll isn’t working either! How do I fix these two issues?

msvcp100.dll and msvcr100.dll in C:\

Hello back TPU!

Yesterday I saw two files(msvcp100.dll and msvcr100.dll) in my C:\ disk folder. What does this mean? I know this two files should be in C:\Windows or C:\Windows\System32 or somewhere in C:\Windows but not in main disk folder. I deleted this files but files appeared again today. Is this a virus or maybe an application? How can I check this?

they are microsoft visual studio files, leave em alone.

 

MSVCP140.dll and VCRUNTIME140.dll is missing!

Hello, I've been having quite the issue since I re-installed windows on my pc, I own a rust server, and there is a program called "Rust Admin", but to open that it says I don't have MSVCP140.dll and VCRUNTIME140.dll, even though I installed Visual C++ Redistributable
for Visual Studio 2015. If I go to the System32 folder, I have MSVCP140.dll and VCRUNTIME140.dll in there, so that's why I was confused, I tried re-installing the program, repairing it and even going into cmd and doing "sfc /scannow", which didn't help. I've
scanned for malware and can't find any so I'm confused as to why it's not working. Even if I copy the 2 files to the Rust Admin folder, it says "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)."

I hope we can get this problem resolved, thank you.
