    My problems all stemmed from a Windows update two nights ago that caused my entire to install to BSoD with a stop code of "BAD SYSTEM CONFIG INFO". I followed a few different guides, then eventually gave up and began backing up files using a bootable Windows 10 Media on USB.

    The steps I took somehow deleted something with a name like EFI as well, and then it wouldn't even boot far enough to BSoD. While I was backing up files, my SD card got corrupted, so I ran chkdsk /r /f D: and it seemingly made the problem worse, as after a reboot, it seems like the SD card corrupted my Windows folder in my C:\ drive somehow. The guide I was following to fix the SD card told me to reboot before reopening the SD card because apparently Windows wouldn't refresh it.

    I ran chkdsk /r /f C: now, and it's 29% stage, 0% total, and 4 file segments are unreadable as of right now.

    Would it be possible for me to check the state of the drive without opening notepad and continue backing up files using the CLI only? Please offer assistance.

    humm k, this thing is poping up on my taskbar.

    Well I ran the chkdsk in my windows 32 folder and the problem remains*Stick Out Tongue C:\Windows\ - The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable. :p.

    Any help when someone has the spare time, is greatly apriciated.
