  1. Cache Hierarchy Error Help

So for the last 7 months, my computer keeps randomly blue screening and I don't know why. I've tried reinstalling Windows twice, I've updated all my drivers, and I've updated my Bios to the current version among many other things. I'm at my wits end and I don't know where to go because when I look up my error online, I get so many solutions that don't work. I'm torn between either its a heating issue when it crashes, the room will start to get really warm or my processor is slowly dying. I will take any help at this point. My specs are: Evga RTX 3060 TiGigabyte B660 Gaming x AX DDR4Intel i7-127

    :)

  3. Cache hierarchy error

    Hello everybody,
While playing call of duty games (warzone, cold war and vanguard), sometimes my screen goes black and immediately restarts, and event viewer shows cache hierarchy error. I feel like I've tried everything by now and I don't know what esle to try.
    Here's what I've tried:

    • fresh windows install
    • DDU drivers uninstall and reinstall (drivers are updated to the latest version)
    • chipset drivers reinstall (latest version)
    • Updated to latest BIOS
    • run common command-line tools such as sfc, chkdsk and DISM
    • tested every hard disk/ssd with crystaldiskinfo and crystaldiskmark
    • reseating components
    • made sure every cable is connected
    • swapped motherboard (before it was asus strix X570-F, now its Asrock x570 taichi)
    • swapped ram (g.skill tridentz to corsair vengeance 3200mhz)
    • swapped cpu (r7 3700x to r7 5800x)
    • PSU is less than a year old (corsair rm750x 80+ gold)
    • temperatures are fine, gpu is 63C while usage is at 100%, cpu about the same)
    • disabled PBO
    • added positive offset to PBO
    • added negative offset to PBO
    • disabled and re-enabled XMP
    • applied more VID voltage & Vcore voltage
    • disabled fast restart
    • removed dual boot with fedora linux
    • enabled and then disabled resizable bar
    • upgraded to windows 11
Nothing worked, althoug before it crashed like once or twice per day, now it can crash once or twice per week.
I'm pointing my finger to either the GPU or the OS because it's the only thing I haven't been able to actually debug so I'm kinda out of options here, any help is appreciated.

    my specs:

    • Asrock X570 Taichi
    • Ryzen 7 5800X
    • RX 5700 XT Powercolor red devil
    • 32GB DDR4 Corsair Vengeance PRO RGB (4x8GB) @3200Mhz
    • 1x sabrent rocket 4.0 Nvme SSD 500GB (OS)
    • 1x sabrent rocket 4.0 Nvme SSD 1TB (games)
    • 1x Kingston sata SSD 250gb (ex linux drive, now general storage)
    • 1x WD blue 1TB (storage)
    • Corsair RM750X 750W 80+ Gold PSU
    • Corsair H100i Capellix 240mm AIO CPU cooler
    • NZXT h710i case
I'm going crazy with this error, thanks in advance for your help.

    Cache Hierarchy Error Help

    Cache Hierarchy error.

I have a 8700K (default bios settings) for a month now. I have only just noticed after scrolling through event manger that i have been getting these warnings only from 21.01 january:
A corrected hardware error has occurred.

    Reported by component: Processor Core
    Error Source: Corrected Machine Check
    Error Type: Cache Hierarchy Error
Processor APIC ID: 0 (also sometimes happens for 6 or 8 aswell)

I havent seen any affects that might be caused from this like BSODS or freezing. All stable. Intel diagnostic tool passing. Memtest86 no errors. IHC memtest no errors. Either way should i be concerned of that errors from 21.01?

my pc: 8700K ( 4700MHZ is on auto by motherboard )
    2x8GB DDR4 GSKILL 3000MHZ XMP ON
    Corsair 750i
    SSD Crucial 525GB MX300
    HDD TOSHIBA 500GB
Asus Z370 Pro Gaming bios 215
Windows 10 Fall Creators Update 1709

I tried to reproduce issue by formatting disk and installing again Windows 10 but they dont appear again. From microsoft they said that this is hardware issue. So why i cant reproduce this?
