Windows 10: Calander events disappeared

I have been using Windows Calendar for a few years and been having on and off, times when the Calendar dumps everything and I have to start again.Sometimes it comes back after a mont or so and replaces the new items I have entered.This is infuriating for me as I rely on this for my appointments I am well into my 70's and the memory ain't what it used to be.Is there any answer for this, or is this just another MS hold on us, I can not afford a paid version Calendar. But I need a Calendar program that I can rely one.Any help would be most gratefully accepted NZRabbittyHamilton NZ

Synch all calanders with colors to the phone from hotmail. Also include To_do list.

In order to assist you further with the issue could you please confirm a couple of things:

• How do you access Calendar? Is it through a Web Browser or an Email Client?
• Are you referring to the default Calendar app?
• Did you make any changes to your account before you encountered the issue?
  

Nevertheless, I suggest you to follow the steps below and check whether you're able to see the events in your Account:

• Go to Outlook – free personal email and calendar from Microsoft
• And check whether you're able to see all your Calendar events.

Truncating Calander Events Issue

Hi everyone,

For work I get calander events for the trips I go on. I sync my Motorola Q9m to laptop. When I look at the event its incomplete. At the bottom is says: " Text truncated on device. Modifications of these items on the device will overwrite full text on desktop."
The problem is, is that I do not want the event truncated. I want the whole event. I have been looking into settings on both the phone and the laptop and I do not see anything. Can anyone help??
