Windows 10: Calculator and mail app keeps not responding

I have problem in my 2 applications. It wont open properly. I can open them for the first time then after couple of minutes it will encounter problem and close immediately. My system will freeze so you cant do anything until it closes. I only have issue on those 2 apps so I dont know what to do.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

Method 1: Run the app troubleshooter.

As you are facing an issue with Mail app, I suggest you to download and run the app troubleshooter from the following link and check.

If the issue still persist, I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the Mail app and check if it helps.

Method 2: uninstall and reinstall the Mail app.

Follow the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Type Windows Powershell in search box.
• Right click on Windows Powershell and select
  Run as administrator.
• Copy and paste the following command.

get-appxpackage *microsoft.windowscommunicationsapps* | remove-appxpackage

• Press Enter key.

After uninstalling the Mail app I suggest you to download and install the app again and check.

I did that to no avail, then I ran WSReset.exe; now I'm good on all 3, Mail, Calendar and People! *Confused
Go figure!
