Windows 10: Calculator no longer pops up when searching a easy equation. How do I fix this?

Hello. When I started using my laptop a few weeks ago it was fine but now the calculator suddenly disappeared. I have tried changing my region already, resetting calculator and checked for updates. I am on Windows 11, Version 24H2. When I tried fixing it with the methods that I have listed, it did nothing but occasionally when I did questions like 51/3 or 7*8 it worked but when I tried it again it no longer worked.

Calculator is missing

I just type Calculator in search bar and it pops up at top of list.

 

Typing math equation doens't always result in the answer

It's possible that some proxy server settings are interfering with the search results, since Cortana searches multiple sources from the internet by default. This means that once you type the equation and press Enter, a Bing search page would
pop-up by default. As a workaround, we suggest turning off the proxy server options on your computer.

Disclaimer: Proxy servers are enabled to add privacy and anonymity, acting as a buffer between your computer and the internet. It also helps to block some unwanted content such as malware from
your computer. Disable proxy servers at your own risk.

To disable the proxy server:

• 
  Launch Internet Explorer.
  
• 
  Click the Gear icon on the upper right corner.
  
• 
  Click Internet Options.
  
• 
  Click the Connections tab.
  
• 
  Click LAN
  Settings.
  
• 
  Uncheck the box for Use a proxy server for your LAN (These settings will not apply to dial-up or VPN connections).
  
• 
  Click OK.
  
• 
  Click OK again.
  

After turning off the proxy server, whenever you enter an equation in Cortana, the answer will display in Cortana instead of a Bing webpage.

Calculator doesnt work after windows 10 update

-I have tried the suggestions listed at the top of this thread and have searched for other solutions via the web without any solutions.

- The calculator worked since the last windows update.

- No error message or code is shown, just a 0.5-1 sec flash of a grayed out calculator screen pops up and then vanishes.

- The calculator and windows store do not open, just flash and vanish. I don't need the windows store fixed as I don't use that for work, but I figured I would mention it if it might be somehow related.
