Windows 10: Calibrated color profile flick between original & calibrated profile

Hi,

I have calibrated my Dell XPS 9560 with Xrite i1 Display Pro.

I have successfully applied the color profile. Made it the system by ticking the Color Management->Change System Defaults-> Advanced Settings->Use Windows display calibration.


When I click a quick setting button like switching bluetooth on/off in action center, the display color starts flickering for few seconds between the original & the calibrated. (Bluish color & calibrated color bit yellowish than he original)


This happens only for few seconds & stops. Gain happens the same when I do some actions.


Have the latest drivers installed & windows is installed.


Please give me a fix for this issue.

Monitor calibration, error message: "This display currently uses a wide-gamut color profile. The display color calibration will create a color profile with a conventional gamut"

I use a DELL SP2309W monitor for my photography. Since upgrading to Win dows 19 I get an error message whenI open Photoshoh which requests me to re run my Calibration software. When I Try to Calibrate in Windows 10 I get this error message:

"This display currently uses a wide-gamut color profile. The display color calibration will create a color profile with a conventional gamut, which may be a poor fit for this display and result in distorted color appearance. Do you want to continue? Yes/No"

Can anyone please advise me how I can correctly calibrate my Monitor.

 

Display Color Calibration

We appreciate the detailed information. You can try uninstalling the driver in Device Manager and reboot the device. After the restart the system will automatically install the driver, then you can try to

calibrate the display again.

If you don't want to uninstall the driver, we suggest that you try the below steps:

• Go to Color Management using Search or Cortana.
• Click on Advanced tab.
• Select Change system defaults.
• On the new window, click on the “Advanced” tab on the upper side of the window.
• Now you will need to check the box next to “Use Windows default calibration”.
• Left click or tap on the “Close” button.
• Left click on the “Devices” tab you have on the upper side of the window.
• Select the “Set as default profile”.
• Reboot the device and see if your calibrate screen feature is okay now.

HDR mode and color profiles

Hello

I have a calibrated ICC profile for normal sRGB mode. When i switch to HDR mode, it still using the calibrated profile, and giving weird colors and white balance.

I have tried to add a Rec.2020 HDR profile to ICC-profile (Advance color) list in color management. But I can´t use it at standard colors in HDR mode. Nothing happens when i try to applied it.

So to be clear:

In normal mode I want to use calibrated icc profile for sRGB.

And in HDR mode, using the standard REC.2020 icc profile.
