Windows 10: call of duty 1 wont open

ok so recently I bought the CD for call of duty 1 now I have a real key for it the key works and everything but when i try open the game is gives me a black screen this comes up on multiplayer and on single player it says admin permission required but there is only 1 account on my pc and its my account that has admin privileges, my pc has windows 10 and everything else on my pc can run the game fine but the games just wont open, i tried opening the game via a CD i got a menu but when i select a game like multiplayer it gives me the same thing and sometimes it would just make my screen black until i press alt+F4, the CD has no scratches i have the 2 CD's

Call of Duty 1 Single Player Wont Open

Hello I tried the above instructions but it still didn't work for the single player of call of duty 1 and I have the same problem with call of duty 2 ?

I'm running windows 10

at one point at the end of installation it come up with run in administration mode which I did and still nothing.

can you help please

call of duty heroes not opening

after installing call of duty heroes in my pc from microsoft store it is not opening

Hi,

It looks like the components of your game have
something to do with the error message that you are getting. Here are steps on how to
repair registry entries associated with Call of Duty:

1. Click the Start button.

2. Type "command" in the search box... DO NOT hit ENTER yet!

3. While holding CTRL-Shift on your keyboard, hit ENTER.

4. You will be prompted with a permission dialog box.

5. Click Yes.

6. A black box will open with a blinking cursor.

7. Type "regedit" and hit ENTER.

8. In the Registry Editor, select the CoDMP.exe-related key (eg. Call of Duty) you want to back up.

9. From the File menu, choose Export.

10. In the Save In list, select the folder where you want to save the Call of Duty backup key.

11. In the File Name box, type a name for your backup file, such as "Call of Duty Backup".

12. In the Export Range box, be sure that "Selected branch" is selected.

13. Click Save.

14. The file is then saved with a .reg file extension.

15. You now have a backup of your CoDMP.exe-related registry entry.
