Windows 10: Calls about blocking my microssof serial number

Hallo i did received unwanted calls from someone who pretends to be from microsoft support. +39399953687 and +31632377844 . He wanted me to check my pc about viruses by guiding me through settings otherwise he told me that he will block my serial number ? I denied that. Is that a criminal fraud call ?

I'm afraid there is no such setting on the phone to block calling numbers. There are some application in Marketplace that would block a number depending of the prefix they're calling from but for what I could see there is no app for blocking a list of specific
numbers. I would suggest you to contact your mobile operator if you want to block a particular number.

How to add a number to blocked calls

Hello,
Have now updated to Amber and would like to know how to add a number to the blocked calls/texts list. I have turned on blocked calls/texts and have gone into call history, but there is not an option to add a number to blocked calls/texts, thanks.

Regarding your concern, you can block unwanted calls or text messages using the
call+‎SMS filter app. To add a phone number to your blocked numbers list, on the start screen, tap , swipe to history, tap and hold the caller you want to block, and tap block
number.

You can also add numbers to your blocked numbers list from text messages.

To check the settings of call+SMS filter, go to settings > call+‎SMS filter.

Block calls and messages

• Switch Block calls+‎SMS to On.

Check which numbers are blocked

• Tap blocked numbers.

Get notifications about blocked calls or messages.

• Tap advanced, and switch Notifications to On.
