Windows 10: Cambria Math font symbols in character map are copied with a font size of 2,5 on Microsoft Word

I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but recently I was using Microsoft Word and needed to copy a symbol, so I opened Character Map windows's one, not word's, selected the Cambria Math font, and tried to select a symbol. However, the font size is 2,5 both in Character map and when I copy it in Word. I know about Shift+Alt+V but I was wondering if there was a way to fix it since it used to work just fine a week ago. Every other font in character map has the correct font size. I have absolutely no idea about what could have caused this. I have included an image where you can see the

Why is font not displayed in Character Map


Recently upgraded to Win 10. Since then, added new font, Helvetica Neue. It shows in File Explorer, it shows in apps generally (see image) but it doesn't show in Character Map. Why not?

I found these steps in this forum from back in 2010:

Step 1:

I would suggest you to try these steps and check whether it helps in fixing your issue.

Open font settings by clicking on start, click on control panel, and then click on appearance and personalization, under fonts click on change font settings. And select the font size.

Step 2:

If you’re trying to change windows font size then please follow the steps below:

To change Windows fonts

1. Open Appearance Settings by clicking the Start button and then clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type window color, and then click Change window colors and
metrics.

2. In the Item list, click the part of Windows that you want to change the font for. For example, if you want to change the menu font, click Menu in the list. Then, make any of the following changes:

· In the Font list, click the font that you want to use.

· In the Size list, click the font size that you want.

· In the Color list, click the font color that you want.

3. Repeat these steps for each item that you want to make changes to, and then click OK.

I would suggest you to follow the below steps and check if you are able to change the font size.

• 
  open Kindle app
  
• 
  Hamburger icon on the top left
  
• 
  Then select settings
  
• 
  Click on options and check if you are able to find options for font settings
  

You can try this short cut by pressing Ctrl button with scrolling your mouse to zoom the screen size.
