Windows 10: Camera and Audio will not work on Windows 10 among other things

All day now I've had this excruciating problem with my computer's audio. It will connect to my headphones/ speaker, but it will not play sound. Trying to test the sound in "Manage Audio Devices" gives the error "Failed to play test tone". On top of that, I realized that my camera also does not work, saying it needs permission, even though it already has it. I've searched around all day and I'm guessing there's some driver or permission issue, maybe because of a minor update from yesterday on April 4th? I can't roll it back though because I used disk cleanup last night. sfc /scannow says there

Try open Settings from start and in Privacy, check for Microphone, and see whether Camera App permit to use Microphone there.

Make sure 'Allow apps to access your microphone' is turned on and make sure the appropriate app is also set to On

Go to Update & Security - Troubleshoot

Run these troubleshooters

Hardware and devices

Recording Audio

Try close all other Apps and then open a Camera and see whether it works.

Also, I suggest this method:

Method 1: Run built-in Audio Device troubleshooter, and check if the issue is resolved.

Step 1: Type Troubleshooting in the search box next to Start button, and press Enter.

Step 2: Click on View all from the left side panel of the screen.

Step 3: Select Playing Audio, click on Advanced option, and check Apply repairs automatically.

Step 4: Follow the on-screen instructions.

Method 2: If the issue persist, run Recording audio troubleshooter included within Windows OS by following the steps below, and check if the issue is resolved.

Step 1: Type Troubleshooting in the search box next to Start button, and press Enter.

Step 2: Click on View all from the left side panel of the screen.

Step 3: Select Recording audio, and follow the on-screen instructions.

• What all the steps have you tried to resolve the issue?
• Are you referring to camera pp or external camera?

As per the screens hot you have provided I see it is camera app, if you facing issue with camera app, then
I suggest you to download and run the app troubleshooter from the following link and check.
