    Camera and microphone gone? toshiba satellite s55-b5157


    My built in camera and microphone have both disappeared. The cannot be found on the device manager even after scanning for hardware changes, or rebooting.


    one app gives me this Microsoft error code. 0xA00F4244 <no cameras are attached>

    HDMI port on Toshiba Satellite S55-C5274

    HDMI port on Toshiba Satellite S55-C5274 does not present to the monitor. Have up dated Intel HD Graphics drivers, Updated most current Windows 10. No errors in devices. I have tested the HDMI cable with an another system (HP); it functions as advertised.
    Prior to Windows 10 the HDMI port functioned as an extended monitor connection. What is the Microsoft value added repair/fix/patch? Any thoughts or suggestions?

    Same problem -- missing webcam app, no camera found, no one seems to know what they're doing at Microsoft, and the there's no driver download to replace what Microsoft installed for the camera.

    We can't find your camera.

    THE CAMERA DRIVER IS GONE, MISSING, WAS DELETED and you provide no help whatsover. Really? This is what Microsoft has devolved into?

    Camera App Issue on Toshiba Satellite s55-C

    Hello,

    I'm having the same issue, can't record with the Camera app and can't make/take calls on Skype.

    The error code is the same (0xA00F425E) but my laptop is a Toshiba Satellite E45t-B4300.

    Hope you can help us.
