Windows 10: camera can't access built in mic and says to turn it on in privacy settings even though it...

I've spent a grueling half an hour shifting through my settings. I have no idea what is going on but i'd just made a video about 10 minutes beforehand and it worked fine then. I have been so bored looking through all my settings over and over i don't even remember how it could've happened. It's exactly as the title says, so i don't have any other details. Any help appreciated, thanks.This is making me very sad as it is new years.

Opened Windows Settings --> Privacy to grant access...granted all apps access. Zoom not listed as an app, but gave access to all apps.

This issue occurs due to permission issue, driver issue, license for an app is out of sync with the license installed on the computer or if the app is not updated. To give permission to Camera and Microphone app, you may follow
these steps:

• Go to Settings.
• Select Privacy.
• Look for Camera, make sure that “Let apps use my camera” is turned On. You may choose the apps that can use your camera as well.
• Go back to Privacy and select Microphone, make sure that “Let apps use my microphone” is turned On. You may choose the apps that can use your microphone as well.
