Windows 10: Camera connectivity impeded by recent security update

I use a Canon EOS 5D Mk4 camera which connects to my PC via a USB cable to EOS Utility software.A recent security update means tha camera and PC no longer talk to each other although recognising that there is a connection there.If I delete the security update No 5003637 it all works correctly again.The trouble is that that update reinstalls in a cumulative update, once again destroying the auto connectivity between camera and PC.All Camera software, firmware and drivers are fully up to date.I see the fault lying with the update 5003637 Microsoft help has blamed CanonAny ideas?

  Provide me the make/model of pc and camera?

  Did you get any error message?
  

I would suggest you to follow the steps below:

Step 1:Update the driver

After the install to Windows 10, the drivers for the camera may have not been Installed. I would suggest that you install the drivers for the camera and check.

a. Move the mouse to bottom left corner and right-click on the
“Start” icon.

b. Select ‘Device manager’.

c. Expand ‘Camera”, right-click on the adapter and select update ‘update driver software’

step 2: Run the hardware troubleshooter.

To do so, open Control Panel
> troubleshooting> Hardware and Sound >
Hardware and Devices.

follow the instructions.

  Have you installed all the pending updates?

  Have you installed any third party application recently?
  

Step 1: I would suggest you to open Camera app and check if you are able to access the webcam or not.

• 
  Type camera app in search bar and you will be able to open camera app.
  

Step 2: I suggest you to install the latest available web-cam software from the manufacture web site and check if it helps.

Step 3: I suggest you to check for the latest updates.

  Press Windows logo key +R, enter
  MS-settings: and then press OK. This opens Settings.
  
• 
  In Settings, go to Update & security >
  Windows Update, and then select Check for updates. Install any available updates and restart your PC if required.
