Windows 10: Camera disconnected message keeps reappearing in Windows 10

I have a 7 yr old computer system, originally with Windows 8.1, and upgraded to Windows 10 on New Years Eve before the end of support for 8.1. Ever since I upgraded, I've noticed a peculiar window that keeps popping up.I have 2 cameras that I use frequently; one is a point & shoot bridge camera, and the other is an SLR both the same brand. I use a USB cable to transfer the photos/videos to the computer; the cable is a USB type A to mini-B on the camera end. I usually connect the cable to the camera first, then the computer, then turn the camera on. The computer detects the device,

• Do you get any error message when the internet disconnects?
• Have you made any changes to your computer prior to this issue?
• Are you able to connect through wired connection?

I suggest you to follow the below methods and check if it helps.

Method 1: I suggest you to run the internet troubleshooter as below and check if it helps.

• Type Troubleshooting in the search bar.
• Once the window open click on View All located on the left navigation pane.
• Locate and select Internet Connection and run the in build troubleshooter.

Method 2: I suggest you to follow the steps from the below article

  What is the make model of your system?
  

I suggest you to Change the USB power management settings and check.

• 
  Open Device Manager.
  
• 
  Double-click the type USB to change power management settings.
  
• 
  Right-click the specific device you want, and then click
  Properties.
  
• 
  On the Power Management tab, change the power management settings.

download Windows camera app

Success in resetting Store; that produced a download of the Windows camera, despite seeing error message again, download proceeded. Screen shows MS app for Windows camera and indicates downloaded. (Camera now listed in app list.) But when Launch was selected,
no action after screen with camera icon. Eventually message appeared " something went wrong: here is message code if needed: 0x400F4271>MediaCaptureFailedEvent>0xC00D3704. We seem to be moving ahead a step at a time. Next suggestion?
