    Camera doesn't work A white symbol of a camera with a line across it appears instead.


    Whenever I try to use my camera for anything, all that appears is a grey screen with a symbol of a camera with a line across it in white.After researching it, I saw advice that said that I need to give whatsapp, my camera app, ect, access to my camera. But after giving permissions to everything and restarting my laptop several times, I am still unable to use my camera the symbol still comes up. This means that I cannot video call, take pictures or anything.Sorry if this is a repetitive, tedious question but thank you if you help.

    Camera N96 doesn´t work

    When I press the camera button to take a picture the phone says. "Camera: the function doesn´t exits" in swedish "Kamera: Funktionen stöds inte."



    And I can´t send mms either but the phone is set up properly. It´s like it missing softwear to work, i have no usb cable and the Nokia softwear updater seems to only work with the usb cable instead of bluetooth. I have reasently format the harddrive and
    there is a 64 mb memorycard in the phone.



    any ideas?

    Hi Guys!!! I have a Problem with Nokia N8, the camera doesn´t work, I can open the camera software and runs fine, but does not display picture (black screen), it doesn´t displays imagen in video rec mode too, if I select second camera it works well. I've
    seen that Carl Zeiss camera lens does not open when I take a picture or rec video, can this be a problem in the firmware?

    I bought Nokia N8 two weeks ago, and I didn´t do any test of camera until today, My big mistake!!! :smileymad:

    Camera not working with Skype

    Well I can't see one!!!

    If I plug in an external USB camera then a camera heading appears in Device Manager and the USB camera is listed. Remove the USB camera and the entire camera section disappears

    Cant remember if I said but,for hte avoidance of doubt, the Internal Lenovo camera appears as a selectable camera in Skype, its just that when selected it does not work (black screen)
