my Vaio pcg-71212m does not recognize his own camera. whats wrong ?

Sorry to know that you are facing issues with using HDMI port on Windows 10.

Refer to the below methods and check if it helps.



Method 1: I suggest you to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter.

  Tap on Windows Key.
  
• 
  Click on Search bar.
  
• 
  Type “Troubleshooting” without the quotes and Click on
  Troubleshooting.
  
• 
  Click on View All
  and then click on Hardware and Devices.
  
• 
  Click on Next and follow the instructions.
  

If the issue still persist, refer to the below method.



Method 2: I would suggest you to download the latest driver from the manufacture website and then try to install the drivers in compatibility mode and check if it helps.

  Tap on Windows Key
  and click on Search bar.
  
• 
  Then type”Troubleshooting” without the quotes and click on
  Troubleshooting.
  
• 
  Click on View All
  on the left panel of the screen.
  
• 
  Then click on Program compatibility Troubleshooter.

  Click on Next and follow the instructions.
