Windows 10: Camera Error

Hi I have recently upgraded My Sony VAIO Laptop from Windows 7 to Windows 10.When I launch camera app, it starts but doesn't show anything on it. Also after clicking a picture, it gives following error: 0xA00F4292 < PhotoCaptureStartTimeout> My laptop model is Sony Vaio VPCEH3AEN.Any help would be highly appriciated

settings to see if the camera access is turned on. Kindly follow the steps below to check the camera privacy settings:

• Press the Windows key + I to open the Settings app.
• Near the top of the Settings app window is the search box, kindly type the word "webcam" or "camera".
• From the list of results choose Camera privacy settings.
• Make sure that "Let apps use my camera" toggle is set to On.

Compatibility could be one of the probable reasons why you have this error. What we can suggest is for you to run the hardware troubleshooter. You can follow the steps below:

• Click the magnifying glass icon beside the Windows start menu.
• Type Troubleshooting.
• Select Hardware and Sound.
• Click Hardware and Devices from the options list.
• Click Next to run the Hardware and Device Troubleshooter.
