Windows 10: Camera from monitor not detected by computer

Hello everyone,I recently purchased a new HP BANG & OLUFSEN monitor. Everything seemed to be working perfectly at first, but I recently discovered that my laptop Surface Pro 7 doesn't recognize the monitor's built-in camera. I've tried making video calls on Teams and WhatsApp, but the camera simply isn't detected as if it doesn’t exist.The monitor is connected to my computer via USB-C.Does anyone have any advice?Thank you in advance!

Dell Monitor Camera

I have a Dell Monitor hooked to a Dell XPS Laptop. I want to use the monitor camera not the laptop camera. I've tried the suggestions from a closed thread about activating the camera but when I try the steps it keeps going to the laptop camera.

Suggestions or am I asking the impossible.

 

External monitor detected as camera

I have 2 identical Dell laptops. When I plug my external monitor into one it is detected automatically and everything works. With the other when I plug in the monitor it's detected as a camera. My display device, monitor and camera drivers are all identical
and updated. In the Device Manager when I plug into the laptop that works the monitor appears under Display Adapters, as it should. But the other shows it under Cameras as a USB Video Device that won't start. Hope someone has an idea on this. Thanks.

 

How can I make my computer detect my integrated camera?

Not even the default windows 10 camera app can detect my laptop camera. I've looked online and they suggested checking device manager, but my camera didn't show up there either. Here's my computer hardware:
My computer specs. I have an msi laptop, but unfortunately, I don't know what the model number is because it isn't written anywhere on the laptop.
