Windows 10: camera green light is glowing but on screen camera is not working when i click picture it...

camera green light is on but not showing my picture rather it shows black screen with camera icon a line crossing o this icon if i take picture or video it took of laptop screen

Green led light is on but camera is not working.

my acer predetor laptop's camera is not working, green led light is on but camera is not working, i had tried,

1. update driver.

2. installing and unstalling camera driver.

3. enabling all camera setting in privacy setting.

with no luck,

Web Camera is not working

Hello Rajeshwwari thank you for your answer, but I have installed windows 8.1 again and still my webcam is not working.

The camera app shows black screen same as in above picture and the camera light is on too,but there is no visual and same thing happens during video calling,only black screen with the camera LED light glowing.

I have tried both of your solutons but nothing.

You can try these steps and see if it will make any difference:

• Power cycle

1. Turn off the phone then remove the back cover and the battery.

2. Reinsert the battery and the back cover then turn on your phone.

• Reset your camera settings

1. Go to Settings.

2. Swipe to Application settings.

3. Choose Photos+camera.

4. Select Reset camera.
