Windows 10: Camera image is HORRIBLE. Low dpi - comparable to maybe 1 mp camera display.

After DELL repaired my almost 3 year old laptop because of an update which crashed my computer, now the camera image is terrible. I have worked days uninstalling and reinstalling updates, drivers which it won't accept and still the resolution is grainy. Please help me correct the camera since it worked great before the crash. Dell set it back to factory settings and gave me authorization code for Windows 10, but I don't understand why the camera was affected. Appreciate your help. I really don't think the factory settings was correct for my repaired computer. Feels like it was returned with lower standards than my original order. Was not a cheap purchase. Thank you.

Lumia 800 Camera

Is there going to be a fix/ update for the camera on the Lumia 800 anytime soon?



Pictures taken with this phone are horrible, to say the least, when compared to other WP. The photos are grainy (lots of Noise), not sharp, clarity is sub-par, color is way too cold and you can forget getting a decent photo in low light.



It seem that quite a few camera settings were omitted on the Lumia 800; again when compared to other WIndows Phones.



Here are a few:

• Wide Dynamic Range - On or Off
• Photo Quality - Low, Medium, or High
• Anti-Shaking - On or Off
• Sharpness - Minimum, Low, Medium,
  High, Maximum

I've never used a Nokia phone before now and I'm kinda having buyer's remorse about picking up a Nokia Lumia over a HTC Titan or Samsung Focus S. I've been hearing how Nokia are kings of camera phones, but this has not been the case on this phone. My Samsung
Focus (gen 1) WP has a better camera (5 MP) than the Lumia 800 (8MP).



Nokia really need to take a page from other Windows PHone OEMs (Sammy and HTC) for guidance on how to fix the camera on the 800 or make it better. Hell, even the iPhone 4s (8 MP) camera is far more superior than that of the Lumia 800.



We need fixes sooner than later for:

• The Camera
• Battery issues
• Screen brightness (there is a tint (often dimness) on the screen when set to medium.
