Windows 10: Camera Laptop stopped

Ok this may a difficult one and I appreciate any suggestions.The Lenovo forum has not provided me any answers...Anyway, I have a Lenovo ideapad 5-14ARE05 Laptop - Type 81YM - only a year old.and the in-built camera just stopped being the one being chosen - it just stopped one day and an IPCAM driver from my network was chosen instead.So the device manger states the camera is now 'IPCAM' with a driver being 'ksthunk.sys' and an IP address of a network camera.If you uninstall it, it just comes back.If I remove the laptop off the network and uninstall the IPCAM - no camera is installed after a

Thanks for providing the results after completing the steps we provided. Since you're still getting the error message “Your camera cannot be found” along with the error code "0xA00F4244 (0xC00DABED)", we suggest that you follow the steps below
to reset the Camera app on your Windows 10 computer:

• Press the Windows Key + I to open the Settings app.
• From the options presented select System, then click on
  Apps & features located on the left pane.
• Locate the Camera app from the list and select it.
• Select the Advanced options link and then choose Reset.
• When the pop-up notification is shown just click on the Reset
  button once more.
• Once all the steps are complete, kindly reboot your computer.

Completing this steps will clear the cache of the Camera app and allow it to re-recognize any video capture devices connected to your computer.

Hi, my name is Neil, I'm an independent adviser and a Windows 10 user like you.

Sorry you're having trouble with your laptop camera.

I've helped a few people with similar issues and rather than run down a list of camera problems, can you try something first which has helped others with the same error code.

It can be counter-intuitive, but can you try this for me:

Press the Windows Key + I to open Settings.

Click on Update & Security.

Click on Troubleshoot on the left hand side.

Under Find and fix other problems, click on Recording audio. (if you have a Microphone listed here, click that instead). Click on Run the troubleshooter.

It may find that your mic has been turned off and turn it back on. This should then resolve your camera error.

Check to see if your camera is working again.

If not, we can go through steps to sort out your camera. But it's worth trying this first as it as helped quite a few others.
