Windows 10: Camera not working on Acer Swift 3

sf314-42. I have windows 11. When I go on the camera it says you need a media feature pack that fails to install. Camera access has been turned on. I suspect it was after a windows update but I cannot roll back more than two updates.

Does the camera light turn on?

Try this-

Turn off the device, disconnect from the power & remove the battery, long press the power button (30 seconds) then reconnect everything, turn on & see if the camera is now working.

Touchpad not working on Acer Swift 3 Laptop

I have a one year old Acer Swift 3. Today I noticed the touchpad had stopped working entirely, meaning I can only use my mouse. Here is what I have tried:

- Updating driver from device manager (I cannot even find a driver for my touchpad listed, even with hidden devices shown)

- Finding a driver from Acer (no touchpad drivers listed at all for my model)

- Pressing Fn + F7 multiple times

- Restarting the PC

- Updating

I would be surprised if the problem was physical because I don't use my touchpad all that much, so wear after only a year seems unlikely.

EDIT: I have noticed that when the laptop is on the lock screen, it displays a warning that the touchpad is deactivated. This happens despite repeatedly clicking Fn + f7, and the touchpad showing as enabled in settings.

Hi Virginia! The acer support site doesn't include a Webcam Driver in its current drivers list.
Thanks a lot! I'll contact you as soon as I've tried those fixed, There is also not a camera button
